Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 for Men MX-178, Back in 1997 the Air Max Uptempo could be seen on the feet of players like the Chicago Bulls Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. Just like they were on court, the two seemed to rock the Air Max Uptempo in a way that paralleled their substantially different personalities. Pippen, kept a low profile, and seemed to let his game speak for itself with about 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. Rodman on the other hand, crashed the boards emphatically grabbing 15 or so per game, all the while keeping fans and the league guessing as to what color his hair would be.
